Popular director Vamshi Paidipally did the honors at the film’s muhuratam ceremony. Naga Shaurya revealed that his film has nothing in common with the yesteryear classic Narthanasala. Naga Shaurya said that Narthanasala is going to be a dance based comic caper, loaded with entertainment. Debutant Srinivas Chakravarthy, a protege of Krishna Vamsi, is directing Narthanasala. Chalo’s composer Mahathi Sagar will score the music for the movie. Naga Shaurya felt that it is a great film to take up after Chalo movie. Naga Shaurya will next be seen in Narthanasala, directed by Srinivas Chakravarthy.
Talking about the film on the occasion of its launch on Sunday, the actor shared, “It is a comic caper.” “Contrary to what the title suggests, the film doesn’t revolve around dance. We want to keep that as a surprise element for the audience. I believe Narthanasala will be a great film after Chalo. I am confident that the script has the potential to take me to the next level as an actor”, he added. Apart from the actor’s parents, several film personalities including Nandini Reddy, Abburi Ravi, and Avasarala Srinivas among others graced the new film’s muhuratam.
Young hero Naga Shourya is experiencing a series of flops in the career. He pinned a lot of hopes on his next film Chalo directed by Venky Kudumula. The actor is very happy to be a part of an interesting film. He signed a new film having an interesting title, "Nartanasala". Narthanasala is an interesting film that released in 1963 which is based on the Hindu epic "Mahabharata". Later in 2004, Balakrishna came up with an official announcement that he is going to remake the film. The project was scrapped after the death of Soundarya who was supposed to play Draupadi. During the promotions of Gautamiputra Satakarni, Balayya confirmed that he is not going to do that film. Almost after a decade, the title is doing rounds now for Naga Shaurya's film. The film is directed by a debutante Sreenivas who had earlier assisted Krishna Vamsi. The film is said to be dealing a contemporary subject.
