First Look: Abhishek Bachchan’s Sikh Looks Made His Dad Amitabh Bachan Proud.

Manmarziyan made viral in social media. The new film from the director Anurag
Kashyap, which is the film comeback of Abhishek after a two-year gap, was
shared online on Wednesday. The new photos give us our first good look at
Abhishek, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal’s characters in the film.

Amitabh Bachchan posted the images on social media. Abhishek can be seen wearing a turban looks like Sikh. He has a stern expression on his face. Taapsee and Vicky look like the perfect young Punjabi couple. Vicky even sporting a new hairstyle and a Jim Morrison T-shirt. Vicky previously worked with Anurag on "Raman Raghav 2.0", He played a drug-addled cop. “Your Daadi, Teji Kaur Suri pre-marriage... your par Nana Khazan Singh Suri... your par Naani Amar Kaur Sodhi... & all related must feel great pride and love for you... as do I,” Amitabh wrote.
In early March, Abhishek tweeted about returning to face the camera after two years. He was last seen in 2016’s with "Housefull 3" movie. Abhishek, who has started shooting in Punjab for the film, also posted an Instagram video of the film’s crew having a meal at a dhaba. They were surrounded by excited fans. The cast and crew have been sharing frequent updates from the sets of the Punjab-set romantic drama - from Anurag’s workouts with Taapsee to visits to the Golden Temple. Manmarziyan is co-produced by Aanand L Rai.
Taapsee in an interview to IANS said this film is a beautiful mix of the different worlds of filmmakers Aanand L Rai and Anurag Kashyap. This will be the first time that Abhishek will be collaborating with Taapsee and Vicky for a project. Anurag Kashyap’s Next ‘Manmarziyan’ is a romantic Film. The first look has got us excited. Anurag Kashyap, the king of neo-noir cinema, violence and abuses, is back with a love story, "Manmarziyan". We can not control our excitement. Especially, when the movie seems to be sporting a stellar star cast of Vicky Kaushal, Taapse Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan (who’s back on the silver screen after a hiatus of 2 years).

However, Twitterati is particularly excited to see the return of Junior Bachchan. First look got impressed. ‘Manmarziyaan’ has been a rollercoaster ride. The initial cast and director kept on changing due to reasons unknown. The film is finally being helmed by Anurag Kashyap. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in the leading roles.
The makers released the first look of the film. In the two stills that were unveiled, one is of Junior Bachchan essaying the role of a Sardar who looks absolutely fierce. In the other still, Taapsee is seen going piggyback on her love interest in the film - Vicky Kaushal. Taapsee’s curls seem to be colored in chestnut brown with a tingle of scarlet red. Vicky looks eccentric in his peacock blue hair and also sports a black stud in his ear. The film is produced by Aanand L. Rai and is slated to release on September 7, 2018.
