India Vs South Africa 3rd Test: India got Critical Position in 1st of day. Virat Kohli's Jury is out in danger. His decision to bat on a widely unpredictable Wanderers surface. On another side India got a poor batting performance to counter South Africa's fast bowlers.

Only three players got into double-digits. India Team scored 187 on day one of third test. Faf du Plesis did not opt for a review that would have sent Cheteshwar Pujara into pavilion. Vernon Philander and AB de Villiers gave Kohli lives on 11 and 32. Ajinkya Rahane had given a life when Philander over-stepped. India will be thankful to Bhuvaneshwar Kumar who replaced R Ashwin. Kohli lived a charmed life to stroke his way into 54. Their partnership was worth 84 in 34 overs. Though both men survived notable moments of good fortune. Later, South Africa took bat and having a little over20 minutes. In this time, Bhuvaneswar removed Aidan Markram for 2 to spice up the contest. India is not out of this Test but could rue another sloppy batting effort. Right Now, South Africa is at 81/3.
